Indrit Bègue

Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. University of Geneva

She is a clinical psychiatrist and neuroimaging neuroscientist. Her research focuses on the psychopathological, behavioural and neural processes underlying major neuropsychiatric disorders using brain stimulation. She uses functional and structural imaging to uncover the circuits underlying psychiatric disorders with a particular focus on negative symptoms of schizophrenia, such as loss of motivation, social interests and pleasure, and uses non-invasive stimulation to treat brain circuits, focusing on the cerebellum. She is committed to bridging the gap between clinical and translational research using neuroimaging-guided neuromodulation.
