Kristina Adorjan is Director and Full Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (UPD) at the University of Bern. She also serves as Director of Teaching and Research (UPD) and as Vice Dean for Internationalization and National Networking at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Bern. Her clinical and research focus is on global mental health, with a particular emphasis on brain health in the Global South and Africa. She conducts clinical and biological studies (e.g., psychiatric genetics) and works on improving healthcare structures and education in the field of mental and brain health.
